Velvet is a common choice where the room already has rich seating fabrics or a more traditional character. Other dense fabrics can work just as well when a cleaner appearance is preferred. Deep beige, warm brown, cream, olive, muted gold and darker neutral shades are often easier to coordinate with formal reception interiors than bright decorative colours. The right choice depends on the seating, carpet, wall colour and the amount of Riyadh sunlight entering the room.
